Patients are blinged by volunteer Bling Angels, a varied bunch: oncology social workers, chemo nurses, radiation techs, patient liaisons or hospital volunteers specifically designated for blinging at area hospitals or cancer centers. Bling Angels go through a short training offered at their center or hospital.

OBF donates to each center and hospital leatherette boxes filled with sterling silver cubic zirconium earrings, pendants, bracelets and rings. Bling Angels present a cancer patient with the bling selection so that she/he make a personal choice of free Bling.
